Sim cards are Free and incredibly popular with mobile phone customers. One of the biggest advantages is that they provide a fast and easy route from contracts that cost the customer on a regular basis. Pay as you go sim cards are the least restrictive choice for users in payment terms, as there is no requirement at all to pay out every month. Lets look at the options on offer:

Vodaphone Free Sim Cards

Voda fone offer undoubtably the most straightforward pay as you go deal available across the country, very appropriately titled Vodafone Simply.

Vodaphone simply is quite simply (excuse the pun!) a flat price free sim card option for any mobile phone user. The simple idea is fixed rate phone calls, regardless of whether you phone in the week, weekend, day or night. This is backed with flat price texting.

As well as that, you can bolt on extras, such as Vodaphone Text Unlimited, simply by adding credit each month above a threshold. There are also international calls at competitive rates, and free weekend call options when credit is used during the week.

For more information about the Vodafone prepayment propostition, see Vodaphone Sims.

T-Mobile Free Sim Cards

T-Mobile, like Vodafone, offer a one-off choice for all mobile usage patterns:

tmobile Pay As You Talk gives a tiered calls package, meaning you pay less when you’ve used your phone for a couple of minutes that day. This is a perfect choice for customers requiring more minutes to cost less on a pay as you go deal.

Messaging and voicemail are flat rate cost per minute/message, as is MMS messaging. tmobile also offer mobile internet options on Pay As You Go, which is something the other networks do not so keenly promote.

To get more specific info on rates and allowances, check out T-Mobile Simcards.

It would be worth your while looking at sim-only contracts, particularly if your phone use is regular. Whilst it is still a contract for your mobile, they can be cancelled usually after 30 days, and cost as little as a tenner a month. Put another way, if you spend a tenner in an average month or more, this is likely to be the best choice for your needs. Most of the major mobile networks now provide packages along these lines, and there’s loads of help available on the web – a great comparision chart is displayed about great deals on sim only.
