Something that I often have to wonder about is- are there still really folk using dial up Internet service.  And, each time I stop to ponder this, a few examples of people I myself know spring to mind.  Since I know a few people who still are not using High Speed Internet, there are doubtless a large amount of people out there who are still using dial up.  What I find amazing about this is that, when you start comparing prices of high speed Internet services, like Comcast’s broadband cable Internet service, with that of dial up, you are not paying much more a month for the quicker service.  

Dial up definitely had its uses and served a pretty good purpose.  But , now that there are a few things so much better out there, it is tricky to see how some folks still have the forbearance to wait minutes for each web page to download.  Plus, many websites do not even completely work unless you’ve got a faster connection.  And, if you do not have a high speed Internet connection, you are completely shut out from sharing photos, watching online video, and other great features.  Of course, perhaps it is a good thing if you cannot be distracted from work or studies by watching video of lovable rabbits dancing to 70′s music, but it is good to have the choice.  

Naturally, everyone promptly acknowledges that Comcast High Speed Internet trumps dial up and that, if you want to be able to actually do anything online, you have to make the upgrade.  What is less obvious, is that there are different types of high speed Internet service and a few of them still don’t have enough speed to offer you the options you almost certainly want.  

2 of the largest high speed Internet services are broadband cable Internet, like Comcast offers, and DSL.  DSL is surely faster than dial up, but it’s not reached the speeds that broadband cable Internet offers.  It can also have issues with reliability and doesn’t provide you with the chance to bundle your Internet service with your other telecomms services, like phonephone and television.  Comcast broadband cable Internet service, however provides a really fast connection to the Internet, has extra speed provided by the PowerBoost feature, and provides the chance to economize with bundling.  

Since many of us tend to think that all high speed Internet services are the same, there are many millions of people out there who are not getting as much speed as they could.  For regular Internet surfing you may not notice much of a difference, but you will surely notice it when you start making an attempt to watch video, play games, do online teleconferencing, upload photos, or anything that needs a lot of bandwidth.  There’s also the incontrovertible fact that when a large household all attempted to use the Internet at once, it can truly slow down the connection.  However , if you’ve more speed to start with, there is a good chance that you really won’t get wrapped up by having multiple folk on right now.  

As long as there are dial up and DSL services available, folks will probably continue to employ them.  it does seem like the smartest way to get online is to find a good price in broadband cable Internet service- like a Comcast Internet  Offers.
