It has been estimated that the cell phone industry has profited to the tune of about $4 billion dollars in 2004 thanks to these downloadable ringtones that they have started to charge for. It is no wonder that cellular customers are scrambling and searching all over the internet to find free cell ringtones that they can download and enjoy without the extra cost. While people absolutely enjoy the variety, very few of them are happy about paying more for ringtones than they would to download the MP3 of the newest release by their favorite musician.
In this day and age, there is no doubt that mobile phones are not just a trend, but they are important communication tools that are here to stay for the long run.
